Personal data we process

EXXPLORE processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. We process personal data such as your first name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number and address.

In the course of our work, images of you may be recorded. We process the personal data mentioned above in the context of our services, because we obtained it, because you provided it on your own initiative, or because third parties made it known to us.

Purpose and legal basis

EXXPLORE processes your personal data in order to call or e-mail you where this is necessary to perform our services, to deliver goods and services to you, and/or for internal and external communication.

In addition to these purposes, we also need a legal basis to process your data. EXXPLORE processes the personal data mentioned above on the basis of the performance of a contract, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest.

How long we keep personal data

EXXPLORE does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. We generally keep your personal data for a maximum of 12 months after the end of the assignment, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer. Financial records, such as invoices, are kept for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Sharing personal data with third parties

EXXPLORE only provides personal data to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We only share personal data with mutual consent.

Messages sent through the contact form on this website, and our e-mail in general, are handled via Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes this data on our behalf as a processor, under a data processing agreement.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or comparable techniques, and it does not use analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from our own server, so no data is sent to third parties when you visit this site.

Viewing, correcting or deleting your data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your data, to object to the processing of your personal data by EXXPLORE, and the right to data portability. This means that you can ask us to send the personal data we hold about you, in a computer file, to you or to another organisation you name.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data, to info@exxplore.com. There may be circumstances in which we cannot, or cannot fully, comply with your request as a data subject, for example retention periods that require us to keep your personal data for longer.

How we protect personal data

EXXPLORE takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured, or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@exxplore.com.

Complaints

If, despite our careful handling of your personal data, you have a complaint in this area, you can submit it to us. We will be happy to discuss it with you.
